Will it fit my shower?+

Every ROOTIER filter uses the 1/2 inch thread standard across the Gulf, which covers virtually every shower. Washers are pre-fitted and thread tape is included.

Do I need a plumber?+

No. Everything installs by hand in about two minutes. No tools, no cutting, nothing permanent.

I have a rain shower fixed to the ceiling.+

The Rain Shower Filter replaces your current Rain Shower Head.

Can I use it on a bath tap?+

The Tap Water Filter replaces the aerator at the tip of a basin or kitchen tap. It is not designed for bath spouts.

What does it remove?+

99% of free chlorine, plus sediment, rust and heavy metals picked up in distribution. Lab tested.

Does it soften hard water?+

It reduces the effect of hardness on skin and hair and holds back scale-forming particles. It is a filter, not an ion-exchange softener.

Will the water pressure drop?+

Flow is matched to a standard head. The first few showers can feel denser while the cartridge settles.

What is inside the cartridge?+

It depends on the filter. The Shower Head Filter uses ACF, activated carbon fibre. The Rain Shower Filter uses KDF, a copper-zinc media. Some cartridges run a mix of the two.

What is the difference between ACF and KDF?+

ACF adsorbs chlorine, odour and organic residue across a very large surface area. KDF converts free chlorine to chloride and holds performance at high flow and temperature. Each filter uses the media that suits how it is plumbed.

How often do I replace the cartridge?+

It depends on the filter, please look at the filter specifications.

How do I know when it is spent?+

The media discolours and the water loses the softer feel. Most people change it on the date rather than waiting.

What does a refill cost?+

Shower Head ACF Filter Refill is 70 QAR. Rain Shower KDF Filter Refill is 80 QAR.

Is the housing reusable?+

Yes. The housing lasts. Only the cartridge is consumable.

Is it a filter or a scent?+

Both. It filters and scents in one sealed body.

Is there a cartridge to replace?+

No. The unit is disposable and replaced as a whole after one to two months, when the scent fades.

How long does the scent last?+

One to two months, until the scent fades.

Which scents are there?+

Sakura Bloom, White Musk, Oud Essence, Jasmine Petals, Cherry Blossom, Black Forest, Baby Powder and Lavender Aura.

Can I use it alongside another filter?+

Yes. Many people run a Shower Head Filter in the main bathroom and a scented unit elsewhere.

How fast is delivery?+

One hour within Doha. Next day across the GCC. Three days to Europe and the United States.

Is there free shipping?+

No. Delivery is charged at checkout based on the destination.

Do you ship outside the GCC?+

Yes, to Europe and the United States within three days.

Can I track the order?+

A tracking link is sent as soon as the parcel leaves. Doha orders are dispatched immediately.

What is the return window?+

Fourteen days from delivery, unopened and in original packaging.

What is the warranty?+

Six months on the housing against manufacturing fault. Cartridges are consumable and not covered.

The unit arrived damaged.+

Send a photo to info@rootier.shop on the day it arrives and a replacement goes out.

Can I return an opened cartridge?+

No. Once a cartridge has been through water it cannot be resold or returned.

What payment methods do you take?+

Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer and cash on delivery.

Is cash on delivery available everywhere?+

Cash on delivery is available across Qatar only.

Is checkout secure?+

Card details are handled by the payment provider and never stored by ROOTIER.
